An on road 5th scale rc motorcycle with gyro ? Well, that should be very interesting in the world of rc bikes. Actually, not only interesting but very innovative. And that's the Anderson M5 Motorace on road electric rc motorcycle.

After producing the very successful M5 Cross bike, Anderson models decided to enter the on road electric bikes scheme. Looking at the bike you can realize that this product is a result of good research and not just a remake.

What strikes first is the rear wheel which seems to be a bit bulky, something that we are used to see mostly in off road bikes, but that's for a reason that we will get into more detail later on.

So, is the new recipe good ? Hmmm,

Narrow lightweight chassis... check

Low center of gravity design... check

Adjustable front air suspension... check

Oil filled rear monoshock... check

Anderson gyro stable system (AGGS)... check

Wait, that shouldn't be on the racer's checklist but will definitely drive bashers crazy !!! "Riding" around the street will be easier than ever and we are sure that lots of people will appreciate that. Beginners that love on road rc motorcycles often get discouraged because they get a hard time controlling the bike, but now this gap is filled.

What about racing though ? For sure the added weight of the heavy gyro mechanism compared to a simple wheel is not good news for those looking to get a rc bike for winning their next race. Anderson has thought of that too ! Not only the gyro can be adjusted for a much more agile driving style by removing internal weights but the AGGS can be replaced with a simple wheel unleashing the true racing potential of this bike which then remains to be proven at the track. Unfortunately, we still do not know of when this option package will hit the stores.

As far as the looks go, this motorcycle looks awesome. It may not have the level of detail a static model does but the fresh design and the vivid color schemes make this a stunning model every rc rider would want to own.
